Ep #5 - Ben Katzner

~ Expectations Can Get in the Way of Enjoying These Moments ~

I am thrilled to share with you the 5th episode of Quarantine Conversations.  We all know the healing powers of laughter. In this strange and tough time it may be wise to tap into more laughter as a vehicle for that thing we all crave - connection.

This is a super fun one as it's with one of my best friends from college,  Ben Katzner, who I think is SO brave.  He has willingly chosen to turn his passion of comedy into work and move to NYC to join the stand-up comedy circles.

What You Will Learn:

  • What's the interplay between comedy & vulnerability?

  • How to bolster your mental toughness

  • How to focus on what I can control

  • How you define "Vulnerability"?

  • Is it a sprint? A marathon? Or simply a journey forward?

  • How do you define "Brave"?

Ben Katzner was born in Atlanta, adopted at a young age and raised in small-town Minnesota. On stage he jokes about his upbringing and pretty much everything else in an act his mom has described as "Not for me."
Ben has performed at clubs and comedy festivals throughout the Midwest and east coast and has had the pleasure of opening for many great comedians including: Kyle Kinane, Liza Treyger, Daniel Sloss, Nick Griffin, Doug Smith, Sarah Tiana and Orny Adams.

Please enjoy!
